I found Atty. Fretti Ganchoon’s lecture, delivered as DOJ Senior State Counsel, to be very interesting. She addressed the misconceptions and wrong interpretations regarding the 2016 Arbitral Award on the South China Sea.
Most importantly, she also pointed out that the award is final and binding on China, even though it did not take part in the arbitration process.
