PMA issue? Haven’t you moved on from that yet? If we’re judging by education, it looks like my academic credentials are in better shape now compared to your issue.
Diplomacy, huh? Who told you we’ve got no diplomatic engagement with China anymore? The very presence of their embassy and consulate offices here is proof that our diplomatic relations are ongoing. You might not even know that we have a Bilateral Consultation Mechanism where we discuss issues in the West Philippine Sea.
Don’t get confused: China’s the one with its own interpretation of the incidents, of UNCLOS, and of the 2016 Arbitral Award—not me. All I’m doing is laying out for the public what’s really happening in the WPS. Or do you want us to stay quiet while China harasses us? Staying silent in the face of aggression isn’t diplomacy—that’s a defeatist mindset that says there’s nothing we can do.
I was shocked to learn you actually care about the sacrifices of our soldiers, Coast Guard, and Filipino fishermen. But amid all of China’s bullying of them, you haven’t issued even a single statement. And correction: we’re not the ones heating up the situation in the WPS—China’s the one trampling on our rights as a nation.
True, a lot of folks in government forget their jobs, just like you. So show up to Congress sessions when you’ve got time, and make some laws—because that’s your job, Honorable Congressman.
THIS ISN’T POLITICS, our fight in the West Philippine Sea, and I’m not anyone’s pawn. I stand by this. And correction: every Filipino cares about politics—because we’re the ones who vote for you!
Don’t spread fake news, you’re an Honorable Congressman, after all. I don’t have 10 million in “aid.” But how about that P51 billion mentioned by Usec Cabral last year? Has it all been spent? A lot of people are looking for it, especially now that Davao’s flooded again. Don’t worry—I’ll question that one day too.
How’s it going, anyway, or so say the girls at your favorite hangout!
