Senator Robin Padilla, it seems that even after I’ve explained it in Tagalog, you still haven’t understood.

So I’ll repeat it: the racist video was made by China, and it has nothing to do with the “white people” you’re talking about. What we should condemn is China, because China is the one that created and spread this racist video.

It’s only now that I’ve realized you’re actually blaming me for this racist video, and not China. For you, the caricature I used in a classroom setting is the main reason why this racist video even exists. With all due respect, your argument is wrong.

First, I had no intention of using my lecture as “wartime propaganda”—it wasn’t meant to be published, it was done within a university, and it was satire.

Second, everyone has long moved on from the caricature issue back in January, but you’re still the ones using it as a convenient excuse for China.

Finally, I’m not attacking you—DON’T GET IT TWISTED. You’re the one who named me, and you’re the one who said we’re all monkeys. Remember your own line, Mr. Senator: “Aren’t we all monkeys of different colors?”

We’re not monkeys, and I’m not the enemy here because we’re both Filipinos. I hope your next movie is still a blockbuster
