Beyond financial assistance, the measure aims to strengthen their morale, motivation, and welfare as they serve in high-risk areas alongside military and frontline agencies.

DND Secretary Gilberto Teodoro Jr. expressed support for providing appropriate assistance to civilian personnel assigned to the area, emphasizing that such support would ๐ก๐ž๐ฅ๐ฉ ๐›๐จ๐จ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž๐ข๐ซ ๐ฆ๐จ๐ซ๐š๐ฅ๐ž and ensure their welfare as they carry out their duties in the West Philippine Sea.
