West Philippine Sea Tensions: Transparency, Not Escalation

Commodore Tarriela reiterated that ๐ญ๐ž๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐ญ๐ซ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ก ๐ฌ๐ก๐จ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ ๐ง๐ž๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ ๐›๐ž ๐ฅ๐š๐›๐ž๐ฅ๐ž๐ ๐š๐ฌ ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐ฏ๐จ๐œ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ž ๐จ๐ซ ๐ž๐ฌ๐œ๐š๐ฅ๐š๐ญ๐จ๐ซ๐ฒ.

He added that during President Ferdinand Marcos administration, China’s Foreign Information, Manipulation, and Interference (FIMI) operations intensified because Filipinos are more aware of what is happening in the WPS, compared to the previous administration, when information was scarce and easier for China to counter.
