Maritime Achipelagic Nation Awareness Month (MANA Mo)

This month, the PCG proudly joins in celebrating the ๐Œ๐š๐ซ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐ฆ๐ž ๐€๐ซ๐œ๐ก๐ข๐ฉ๐ž๐ฅ๐š๐ ๐ข๐œ ๐๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐€๐ฐ๐š๐ซ๐ž๐ง๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐Œ๐จ๐ง๐ญ๐ก (๐Œ๐€๐๐€ ๐Œ๐จ), as declared under Presidential Proclamation No. 316, series of 2017. This annual observance reminds us of our unity as an archipelago and our shared responsibility to safeguard the seas that connect, protect, and sustain our nation.


Guided by the theme โ€œ๐๐š๐ ๐ค๐š๐ค๐š๐ข๐ฌ๐š๐ง๐  ๐Š๐š๐ฉ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐š๐ง, ๐๐š๐ง๐š๐ญ๐š๐  ๐ง๐š ๐Š๐š๐ซ๐š๐ ๐š๐ญ๐š๐ง,โ€ let us strengthen our awareness and commitment to the maritime domain. Together, we honor our identity as a maritime nation and take action to ensure that our oceans remain safe, secure, and sustainable for every Filipino, today and for the generations to come.
