๐๐๐ฐ๐ฆ๐๐ค๐๐ซ๐ฌ on Thursday filed a bill to incorporate ๐๐๐ฌ๐ญ ๐๐ก๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ (๐๐๐) ๐๐๐ฎ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง into elementary, high school, and college curricula.
Under ๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ ๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐๐จ. 10587, or the ๐๐๐ฌ๐ญ ๐๐ก๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ฎ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐๐๐ญ, the program would be jointly led by the ๐๐๐ฉ๐๐ซ๐ญ๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ ๐จ๐ ๐๐๐ฎ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ข๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐จ๐ง ๐๐ข๐ ๐ก๐๐ซ ๐๐๐ฎ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง, in collaboration with relevant government agencies such as the National Mapping and Resource Information Authority, the National Security Council, the Department of Foreign Affairs, the National Maritime Council, the Philippine Coast Guard, and the National Task Force for the West Philippine Sea.
Moreover, the bill would be based on internationally recognized legal instruments and rulings, such as the ๐๐ง๐ข๐ญ๐๐ ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ฌ ๐๐จ๐ง๐ฏ๐๐ง๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐จ๐ง ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐๐ฐ ๐จ๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ 2016 ๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ก ๐๐ก๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐ซ๐๐ข๐ญ๐ซ๐๐ฅ ๐๐ฐ๐๐ซ๐.
