The embassy claimed that the coast guard official was spreading misinformation, asserting that his statements contradicted facts on the ground.
According to the said embassy, China maintains their claims in the West Philippine Sea and strongly says that it is within their sovereign rights. Rear Admiral Tarriela stands firm and rejected the embassyโs accusations, emphasizing that Philippine claims are based on facts and supported by the ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ซ๐๐ข๐ญ๐ซ๐๐ฅ ๐๐ฐ๐๐ซ๐ which is anchored on International law.
