RADM Tarriela Urges PMA Cadets to Defend West Philippine Sea as a โ€œPatriotic Dutyโ€

Delivering a lecture to cadets of the Cadet Corps Armed Forces of the Philippines (CCAFP), RADM Tarriela highlighted the ๐ข๐ฆ๐ฉ๐จ๐ซ๐ญ๐š๐ง๐œ๐ž ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ฆ๐š๐ซ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐ฆ๐ž ๐ฌ๐ž๐œ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ ๐ž๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž๐ฆ ๐ญ๐จ ๐ฌ๐ญ๐š๐ฒ ๐œ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ข๐จ๐ฎ๐ฌ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ž๐ง๐ ๐š๐ ๐ž๐.

“The WPS is not an issue about politics, it is our obligation, patriotic duty, and responsibility… so that the sacrifices of our National Heroes will still be recognized and the next generation will still have a WPS.”

The joint session aimed to deepen strategic awareness among First, Second, and Third Class Cadets, equipping future leaders to safeguard Philippine sovereignty and national interests amidst ongoing maritime challenges.
