In a media interview, Justice Carpio said that Chinaโs actions could be a ๐ฉ๐ซ๐๐ฅ๐ฎ๐๐ to developments similar to what previously occurred in ๐ ๐ข๐๐ซ๐ฒ ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐๐ก๐ข๐๐ ๐๐๐๐. He emphasized that while the Philippines cannot match Chinaโs military capability, the country must continue to rely on the ๐ซ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ ๐จ๐ ๐ฅ๐๐ฐ and the support of the ๐ข๐ง๐ญ๐๐ซ๐ง๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐๐ฅ ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ง๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ in asserting and protecting its maritime rights.
