The Philippine Coast Guard continues to monitor three floating buoys in the vicinity of ๐๐๐ฃ๐จ ๐๐ ๐๐๐ฌ๐ข๐ง๐ฅ๐จ๐, according to PCG Spokesperson for the West Philippine Sea, ๐๐๐๐ซ ๐๐๐ฆ๐ข๐ซ๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐ฒ ๐๐๐ซ๐ซ๐ข๐๐ฅ๐. The PCG has yet to determine the purpose of the structures, although antennas remain installed on the buoys, giving the possibility that they could be used for communications. A floating barrel has also been observed in the area.
Meanwhile, Rear Admiral Tarriela said there has been a ๐ฌ๐ข๐ ๐ง๐ข๐๐ข๐๐๐ง๐ญ ๐๐๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ข๐ง ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐ง๐ฎ๐ฆ๐๐๐ซ ๐จ๐ ๐๐ก๐ข๐ง๐๐ฌ๐ ๐ฆ๐๐ซ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐ฆ๐ ๐๐ฌ๐ฌ๐๐ญ๐ฌ operating around Bajo de Masinloc.
Despite the reduction, the PCG continues to closely monitor the area and assess the activities and purpose of the remaining structures.
